Webcomics About Being An Adult
This week's webcomics are about that fabled thing everyone's destined for, but not always desired. Adulting.
Adulting often means doing things that we're not completely comfortable with (yet), or things that we're just not used to. We could try to put away doing them for a long time, but eventually, it catches up with you. Things like doing taxes, paying attention to what you eat, as well as keeping up with current events.

It's also about shedding things that you're familiar with. You're now an adult, and that means you're supposed to be able to take care of yourself without the assistance of your parents. You have to clean up your own mess, and watch what you eat. You're now the principal person responsible for keeping yourself alive. So you have to try to get rid of things that you were able to do because someone else was taking care of you. Often times those are bad habits from when you were younger.
Though the danger there is that you could simply be trading one bad habit for another. I mean, why not grab fast food at midnight? You're an adult, you're free, you can do whatever you want as your heart desires. Binge watching shows while you have work the next morning? Sure! Buying stuff that you don't really need and maxing your credit card out constantly? Why not!

It is very tiring though. Being an adult is a huge amount of work in itself. Cooking your meals instead of ordering takeout all the time. Managing your finances in a way where you're thinking about the future instead of blowing your money each time you get a paycheck. Cleaning your place so it doesn't look like a war zone all the time. So don't feel like you have to be the perfect adult all at once. Baby steps at a time, even if it means you're having cereal every meal.

But don't forget to 'kid' it out once in a while. Because just because you become an adult, it doesn't mean you have to give up all the fun you used to have from when you were younger.
